Tulsi mala is made with the twigs, root and wood of the Tulsi plant, added to a string to be worn as it is.
Tulsi Mala is made by adding beads to the string. These beads are made with the plant parts, and added in either 27, 54 or 108 in number.
Tulsi mala should first be soaked in Holy water (Ganga jal) and shown some incense sticks to charge it.
There are four main rules to wearing Tulsi mala: You shouldn’t i- Gamble, ii- Eat meat, iii- Have illicit sex, iv- Consume alcohol
